Modern Machinery began in 1944 with a single location in Spokane, Washington. Today, Modern operates full service branches in Missoula, Billings, and Columbia Falls, Montana; Boise, Jerome, and Pocatello, Idaho; Kent, Spokane, and Rochester, Washington; and Portland and Eugene, Oregon.
